1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and TrackWithAgent ("we"), based in India, and cover trackwithagent.com and TrackWithAgent Finance (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us.
3. Your account
Keep your password private and tell us at support@trackwithagent.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account.
4. What Finance does, and what it does not
Finance helps you record and understand your own spending and income, and keep track of shared costs with friends. It is a record-keeping tool.
- Not financial advice. Nothing in the Services, including anything the AI assistant says, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Check important numbers yourself.
- We do not handle money. Finance does not connect to your bank, hold funds or make payments. Settle up opens your own UPI app with an amount filled in; the payment is between you, your bank and your UPI app, under their terms. Marking a payment as paid in Finance is only a record. We are not responsible for payments you make or receive.
- Balances are what you enter. Balances, budgets and reports are calculated from the records you and your group members enter. They will be wrong if the records are wrong.
5. The AI assistant
The assistant uses third-party AI models to understand your messages. It can make mistakes: it may misread an amount, pick the wrong category or give an incorrect answer. Every change it proposes is shown to you first and is saved only if you confirm it, so please check each card before you tap Confirm. Use is subject to fair-use limits (currently 6 messages a minute and 100 a day). See how we use AI.
6. Groups and shared content
When you add expenses to a group, other members can see them. Only add people who agreed to be in the group, and only add accurate entries. You are responsible for what you share. If someone's entries in a group are wrong, sort it out with them; we do not arbitrate debts between users.
7. Your content
You own the records you enter. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display them only to provide the Services to you and the members of groups you share with. You can export your transactions and delete your account at any time.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break it.
9. Price
The Services are currently free during early access. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.
10. Changes and availability
We are improving the Services all the time and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep them available but do not promise uninterrupted service; maintenance, outages at our providers, or AI services being unavailable can affect them. We will give reasonable notice before shutting down a product, so you can export your data.
11. Ending these terms
You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time (how to delete your account). We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
12. Our intellectual property
The Services, the TrackWithAgent name and logos, and our software and designs belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them except to use the Services.
13. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other laws that cannot be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for payments made between users. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹1,000.
15. Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to fix the problem. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to bring a consumer complaint where you live.
17. Grievances
Contact our Grievance Officer: Grievance Officer, TrackWithAgent, grievance@trackwithagent.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify Finance users in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the new terms.
19. General
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor with notice to you.
